Our Animal Hospital in Ottawa's Centrepointe Neighbourhood
Centrepointe Animal Hospital Ottawa opened its door in November 2011. It is located in a cozy community mall on Centrepointe drive in Nepean. There is ample parking on-site and even a lovely park, Nepean Centrepointe Park, across the street for those of you who arrive early or those who may want to take a stroll afterwards. Access from the Queensway to Centrepointe drive is very easy and traffic is very mild throughout most of the day. Our Ottawa Animal Hospital offers a wide variety of services to meet your pet’s needs. From vaccinations, surgery and dentistry to digital x-rays and nutritional advice, Dr. Marie-Claude Theoret and her staff are ready to serve you and your best friend!
Our Technology
It is important that an Animal Hospital contains the necessary equipment to treat your furry friend. Centrepointe Animal Hospital’s equipment includes both a digital body x-ray machine for general examinations and a digital dental x-ray for dental examinations.
- The digital body x-ray is a modern technology that allows for x-rays to be performed in a prompt manner, providing fast results so we can accurately and efficiently diagnose and treat your pet.
- Digital dental x-rays are performed to provide more information about your pet’s teeth, roots and jaw. This allows the veterinarian to view the dental cavity and diagnose any underlying infections or serious problems during a routine cleaning and prior to a dental surgery.
- A pet’s blood pressure can be affected by different conditions such as heart disease, thyroid and kidney diseases. This non-invasive technology will allow us to perform blood pressure measurements while you are in with your pet.
- An electrocardiogram (EKG) is indicated when there is abnormal heart rhythm detected by the doctor during an examination. It will help us determine the reason(s) for the abnormal rhythm and the appropriate treatment(s) required.
